Medicine at MU Plovdiv 🩺
At Plovdiv Medical University, you can pursue a 6-Year MD course taught entirely in English. But don't worry, you'll also learn Bulgarian during the first two years, which will come in handy during your clinical years. The course is GMC recognized and meets EU requirements. With experienced teachers and modern facilities, you'll be well-prepared for a successful medical career!
The first 2 years are non-clinical, covering subjects like Anatomy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, and Physiology. The next 3 years are clinical, where you'll gain practical experience in hospitals. In your final year, you'll take the State Exam to earn your Doctor of Medicine (MD) and be awarded a Master's degree.

For those interested in dental medicine, Plovdiv Medical University offers a 6-Year Dental Medicine course also taught in English. The first two years focus on fundamental aspects of medicine and biology, including Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, and Prosthetics.
