Academic Year Structure

The academic year traditionally kicks off in mid-September and wraps up at the end of May the following year. Comprising two semesters of 16 weeks each, students enjoy a 1-week holiday for both Christmas and Easter.
However, recognizing the extensive time required to process international candidates' documents like visas, the General Assembly of MU-Pleven made a conscious decision. For international students enrolled in the English-language course of training, the academic year commences in mid-February and concludes at the end of December.
