The Medical University of Trakia, Stara Zagora provides excellent education through its English-taught study programs in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, culminating in a Master's degree recognized across Europe. It's important to note that at this time, Trakia University does not offer a Dentistry program in English.
  • The Medicine in English program at Trakia University runs over six years. Students are required to pay annual tuition fees of €7,500 for the first five years and €7,000 in the final year. This payment can be split between the winter and summer semesters. The course offers a Master's degree valid throughout the European Union.
  • The Veterinary Medicine in English program lasts five and a half years, with a tuition fee of €5,100 annually or €2,550 per semester. Graduating from this course rewards students with an internationally recognized Master's degree, enabling them to work abroad.

Application Process & Entry Requirements

Applying for Trakia Medical University involves a meticulous Application Process and meeting specific Admission and Entry Requirements. Aspiring students must successfully pass an English language exam (unless English is their native language), and Biology and Chemistry exams conducted in English. The university holds both early and late exam sessions, tailored to cater for students receiving their high school results at different times. To help applicants prepare and achieve outstanding results as well as avoid an exam resit, we offer extensive preparation courses with access to a large practice question pool, sample tests, study material, and mock exams, past papers and testsimulations.

Academic Year Structure

Typically, the inaugural semester commences in the middle of September and concludes at the year's end, followed by approximately two weeks of festive Christmas holidays. The examination period for the first semester is scheduled between mid-January and mid-February. Shortly thereafter, the second semester initiates, extending until the end of May. The examinations for the second semester are conducted throughout the month of June.
